// PART 01: TECHNICAL & INDUSTRY PROFILE

Professional Architecture & Expertise

Silicon Design Engineer 2 at AMD • Former Intern at Intel & Texas Instruments

AMS Modeling • Formal Signoff • CAD Automation

I am a Silicon Design Engineer 2 at AMD specializing as an Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) Design Engineer with a primary focus on behavioral modeling. In this core role, I perform rigorous formal verification and logic equivalence checking using industry-standard Cadence Conformal LEC and Synopsys ESP, ensuring seamless signoff across complex mixed-signal interfaces.

The XMODEL Game-Changer for AMS Simulation

A key pillar of my technical capability is behavioral modeling and AMS testing using XMODEL and MODELZEN by Scientific Analog. Traditional SPICE simulation for mixed-signal SoCs creates massive bottlenecks, often taking days for regression runs. XMODEL is a true game-changer: by introducing event-driven Real-Number Modeling (RNM) directly into SystemVerilog environments, it simulates analog circuits at digital simulation speeds (up to 1,000x faster than SPICE) while preserving exact waveform accuracy and functional continuity. This empowers rapid architectural exploration and comprehensive top-level regression verification before silicon tapeout.

Beyond my core AMS modeling duties, my passion for custom scripting and software engineering enabled me to take initiative in architecting complete internal CAD automations and regression test suites at AMD. By leveraging Claude Code and autonomous AI agent workflows, I significantly improve verification productivity and deliver production-quality internal CAD tooling and regression automation.

Prior to joining AMD full-time, I built foundational industry experience during undergraduate engineering internships at Intel Corporation (performing structural IR drop reliability checks with Ansys Redhawk) and Texas Instruments (engineering high-speed DAC calibration and trimming algorithms).

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK)

Bachelor of Technology (Honors) in Electronics & Communication Engineering | June 2019 – 2023

Honors GPA: 9.6 / 10 | Overall: 8.68

Spearheaded foundational academic research under top NITK faculty—architecting configurable FPGA memory structures for CNNs, 5-stage pipelined MIT Beta-ISA CPUs, and anti-probing hardware security modules. Dedicated to technical mentorship as a former OpenLane ASIC training instructor and IEEE Circuits & Systems Society Chair.

// PART 02: BEYOND THE SILICON

Personal Universe & Off-Duty Pursuits

Formula 1 Fanatic • Open-World Gamer • Anime Connoisseur • Lore Explorer

Work-Life Balance • Creative Exploration

Formula 1 Telemetry & Racing

Die-hard Formula 1 fan captivated by the technical intersection of CFD aerodynamics, real-time telemetry, power unit efficiency, and race strategy. As a constructor supporter, I back Williams Racing and admire Team Principal James Vowles (though keeping close watch on their 2026 car development bounce-back!). On the driver side, I cheer for rookie phenom Kimi Antonelli and firmly believe Carlos Sainz is WDC (World Drivers' Championship) material who deserves a championship-tier machine.

Factory Optimization & Open Worlds

An avid gamer across diverse genres. When stressed, I unwind by driving a Porsche GT3 in Forza Horizon 4 & 6 across open roads, while Rocket League and F1 24 serve as high-energy social competitive arenas with friends. In Satisfactory, my CAD engineering mindset shines as I obsess over optimizing intricate machines and factory floor plans for maximum production throughput and zero bottlenecks.

Cosmic Lore & World-Building

I am deeply drawn to expansive fantasy and sci-fi universes that feel as rich and complex as actual human history. I am a sucker for the staggering cosmic scale, deep lore architecture, and mythic storytelling of franchises like Warhammer 40K and Destiny 2 (holding a special appreciation for Destiny 2's unforgettable era and world-building legacy).

Anime Connoisseur & 3D VFX

A passionate anime fan who has watched virtually every major release since 2019. Top personal favorites include Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, My Hero Academia, Fire Force, and Kaiju No. 8. My curiosity for visual world-building also led me to dabble in 3D visual effects and environmental design back when Unreal Engine 4 was transforming the VFX landscape.
